Are you an MSP?

No — and we don't use the word. A typical MSP resells tools and closes tickets. Mantis is a full-service technology partner: we take ownership of your entire IT operation, then keep going — implementing AI, automation and workflows where the return is provable. Same phone number, much bigger job description.

Do you actually understand construction?

It's who we build for. We support the tools your teams live in — Procore, Sage, Foundation, Vista, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365 — and the realities around them: bid deadlines, job-site trailers, field crews on tablets, GC prequals, cyber-insurance renewals and payment fraud aimed straight at contractors.

Everyone is pitching us AI. How are you different?

We don't sell AI — we implement it where the math works. We start with your workflows, find the repetitive hours (AP invoices, daily logs, RFI follow-ups, submittal tracking), and automate those first. If a tool won't pay for itself, we tell you to skip it. The technology changes every quarter; filtering it is our job, not yours.

What's this going to cost?

Flat per-user monthly pricing. Everything in 'What We Own' is included — no surprise invoices, no hourly nickel-and-diming. Automation projects are scoped and priced before we build, with the expected payback in writing. We quote after the free audit so the number reflects your actual environment.

Question 5

We already have an internal IT person. Are you replacing them?

Your call. We can fully replace the function, or take the noise — tickets, vendors, security, procurement — so your person focuses on the projects and systems that move the business.

Question 6

How long until you've taken over — and will it disrupt live jobs?

Accepted Answer

30 days from signed agreement, with zero disruption to active projects. Your PMs and crews keep working the whole time — most don't notice the switch except that things start getting fixed faster.

Question 7

Are you available after hours?

Accepted Answer

Support runs standard business hours — that's where most issues happen and it keeps our pricing honest. Monitoring runs continuously, so security and outage events are caught around the clock, nights and weekends included.

Question 8

What if it doesn't work out?

Accepted Answer

Month-to-month after the first year. If you leave, you leave with full documentation of your environment, vendors, accounts and every automation we built. No hostage-taking.
